BRMS Computer Elective

ANNOUNCEMENTS - for all grades - please read DAILY

1. GUM - It is not OK to have gum on the Boulder Ridge campus, and it is definitely NOT OK to have in the computer lab. Anyone chewing gum will be assigned 100 lines of “I will not chew gum in the computer lab.”
2. CANDY, FOOD & DRINKS - The standard is the same for candy, food, and drinks in the computer lab: None. Lines will be assigned to those who choose to ignore this standard. Water, in a capped bottle, is allowed.
3. BLANK CDs for sale - Blank CDs are available for 25 cents each. Optional paper sleeves are an additional 5 cents. You are NOT required to have blank CDs for class. See me at the beginning of the class period to purchase CDs.

ACTIVITIES (Periods 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7)

1. KEYBOARDING - Continue MasterKey drills. Also, we will review the keyboarding technique grading sheet. We will review how your keying technique will be evaluated. There will be one grade every two weeks this trimester (25 minutes)
2. DEMO - One-page reports using MLA style.
3. LAB - One-page MLA reports projects 6 and 7.

ACTIVITIES (Period 6)

1. KEYBOARDING - Continue MasterKey drills (20 minutes)
2. PROJECTS - Standard Business Report Format
3. DEMO - none
4. LAB - Finish projects 9 and 10, then turn in using iChat.
