ANNOUNCEMENTS - for all grades - please read DAILY

  1. GUM - Gum is not OK to have on the Boulder Ridge campus, and it is definitely NOT OK to have in the computer lab. Anyone chewing gum will be assigned 100 lines of “I will not chew gum in the computer lab.”
  2. MOVING MICE - There are a few people that seem to think it is OK to move mice from one computer to another. It is NOT OK. If you move a mouse from one computer to another, you will lose your computer privileges for one week.
  3. KEY CAP VANDALISM - Anyone found removing key caps from their keyboard will be removed from the course with a grade of “F” and their parents will be billed for the cost of repair/replacement of the equipment damaged. These computers are public property and we need to respectfully use property that is not our own.
  4. iChat should be closed today.
  5. BLANK CDs for sale - Blank CDs are available for 25 cents each. Optional paper sleeves are an additional 5 cents. You are NOT required to have blank CDs for class. See me at the beginning of the class period to purchase CDs.

8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, and 5)

  1. Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
  2. 1st period - you may work on your research project when you have completed the work for this class.
  3. DEMO - 1) organizing by keywords
  4. LAB - continue gathering and organizing your photos. Add keywords. View your pictures in Slideshow to check their quality.

7th Grade (Period 7)

  1. Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
  2. DEMO - 1) organizing by keywords

6th Grade (Period 6)

  1. Keyboarding warm-up. (20 minutes)
  2. TURN-IN - When you have checked your work thoroughly and your partner has checked your work thoroughly, fill-in the grading sheet, print your letter, staple the grading sheet to the front, and turn-in your block format business letter project.
