Today’s Agenda

8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, 5)

1. Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
2. GRADES - They are now available on the Grades tab at he top of this page. We will review how to access the information.
3. ANNOUNCEMENT - Mrs. Scott has approved the idea of you bringing your digital cameras to class to download pictures for your next project. You may have the camera out in class ONLY to download. No taking pictures or video in class. If you have the camera out any other place on campus, you may have your camera confiscated. Act responsibly and there should be no problems.
4. All of the student folders will be wiped out tomorrow. If you have anything that you want to keep, you will need to save those files in a folder identified by your logon name. We will pass the folders to me on Tuesday using iChat.
5. 1st period - you may work on your science brochure today.
6. iPhoto - depending on the technical status of this lab today, we will start our next project which is creating a photo-only slide show with music. We will use iPhoto to touch-up/prepare your photos, GarageBand to edit your music files, and PowerPoint to put the show together.
7. PowerPoint Review - If you haven’t turned in your PowerPoint project yet, get it in ASAP.

7th Grade (Period 7)

4. Today we continue report writing. We will continue to discuss looking at Websites and how to use MS Word to collect information for your reports, and you will continue practicing that skill.
   1. MS Word settings and toolbars.
   2. Copy and paste from a Website to a Word document.
   3. Continue locating and bookmarking Websites, then gathering information from those websites.
