ANNOUNCEMENTS - for all grades - please read DAILY

  1. GUM - It is not OK to have gum on the Boulder Ridge campus, and it is definitely NOT OK to have in the computer lab. Anyone chewing gum will be assigned 100 lines of “I will not chew gum in the computer lab.”
  2. CANDY, FOOD & DRINKS - The standard is the same for candy, food, and drinks in the computer lab: None. Lines will be assigned to those who choose to ignore this standard. Water, in a capped bottle, is allowed.
  3. BLANK CDs for sale - Blank CDs are available for 25 cents each. Optional paper sleeves are an additional 5 cents. You are NOT required to have blank CDs for class. See me at the beginning of the class period to purchase CDs.

8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, and 5)

  1. Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
  2. PROJECTS - iPhoto slideshow project. Three (3) minutes, no more or less. Photos related to your theme. Music related to your theme. No pixelated graphics. Photos should be cropped and touched-up as needed.
  3. DEMO - iPhoto slideshow settings.
  4. LAB - Continue to work on slideshow. Due soon.

7th Grade (Period 7)

  1. Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
  2. PROJECTS - iPhoto slideshow project. Three (3) minutes, no more or less. Photos related to your theme. Music related to your theme. No pixelated graphics. Photos should be cropped and touched-up as needed.
  3. DEMO - iPhoto slideshow settings.
  4. LAB - Continue to work on slideshow. Due soon.

6th Grade (Period 6)

  1. Keyboarding (20 minutes)
  2. Keyboarding assessment. We will review the form that will be used to grade your keyboarding technique.
  3. PROJECTS - No new projects today. Turn in any assignments you are missing.
  4. DEMO - none. See me individually if you have questions or need help.
  5. LAB - no time…short day.
