Today’s Agenda
8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, 5)
- Period 1 assembly. Period 1 will turn in their PowerPoint projects on Monday.
- Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
- PowerPoint Review - Today we finish. Before submitting your project for grading, make sure you have done the following: (30)
- Check your work. Look for errors. Look for ways to fine-tune the appearance of your presentation.
- Have your partner check your work, looking for mistakes and ways to improve your presentation. Listen to what they have to say. Work together to improve your final product.
- Make the improvements that your partner suggested.
- Have your partner check your presentation again, this time grading it.
- Reverse the process…you check their work.
- When you KNOW you have finished, submit your file to me using iChat. (5)
- After turning in your project, start gathering pictures related to your theme. Save the pictures in the Pictures folder of your Finder and/or in iPhoto. (5)
7th Grade (Period 7)

- Today we continue report writing. We will discuss looking at Websites and how to use MS Word to collect information for your reports. (30)
- MS Word settings and toolbars.
- Copy and paste from a Website to a Word document.
