Today’s Agenda
8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, 5)
- Massive schedule changes today. We’ll take the first 15 minutes to get people moved out, in, and around. (15)
- Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
- PowerPoint - You should now be finished drafting your outline. If not, get done.
- Once you are finished with your outline, which was the most difficult part of preparing a presentation, we move into putting some lipstick on your pig. Today 1) add a design template, and 2) change the layout of each slide to accommodate whatever other media you plan on having on those slides. (25)
7th Grade (Period 7)
- Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
- REMINDER - Apple power adapters and other pieces may be returned for extra credit. Bring them to class. (1)
- REMINDER - Signed copies of the syllabus are now overdue. Please get them turned in. If you lost your copy, there’s a link on the left side of this page. Open the document and print another one for yourself. (1)
- MASTERKEY - some people have asked me about getting this software. If you are interested in getting it, you can download a shareware version at MacinMind Software. (2)
- PowerPoint - continue drafting your outline in OUTLINE VIEW. You should be FINISHED by the end of the period today. (36)
