Today’s Agenda
8th Grade (Periods 1, 3, 4, 5)
- Keyboarding warm-up. (10 minutes)
- REMINDER - Apple power adapters and other pieces may be returned for extra credit. Bring them to class. (1)
- REMINDER - Signed copies of the syllabus are now overdue. Please get them turned in. If you lost your copy, there’s a link on the left side of this page. Open the document and print another one for yourself. (1)
- Project themes are due today. On a blank piece of paper (half or full sheet), write your name (first and last), the class period, and your theme. Remember, there’s no changing your mind…you will use this theme for each of your projects. (5)
- Proper hand position while keyboarding (5)
- Four NETS for better searching — the Google search tutorial — wraps-up today. Finish the worksheet and turn it in by the end of the period. (20)
- If you have finished all of the above, your two options are to continue searching for Websites that you can use for your projects OR continue practicing with the keyboarding software. No other options. No personal research or other off-task activities. (8)
